I'd like to thank everyone who attended my demonstration yesterday.
I completed the pastel this morning by spending a little time working on the reflections on the left hand side, covering more of the terracotta under painting of the board, but other than that, it is as it was.

The demo you gave at Monk Fryston was excellent - many thanks.
One question: The name of the medium you painted your paper with before you started laying the pastel.
I know it was in a soft plastic tub and came in various colours - I believe you used a Sienna. The name eludes me.

Thanks for the e-mail regarding the demo.The product is Colourfix Primer by Art Spectrum and I used a terracotta colour.
