This Watercolour painting was inspired by a wonderful atmospheric day on Sandsend beach, near Whitby, on the North Yorkshire coast. The light was soft and the distance,

slightly lost by a sea fret rising from the breaking waves.

The composition is unusual, but one which I use often.

This subject ideally lends itself to this narrow landscape format.

Prints are limited to a run of only 50, are 'double mounted' in a neutral coloured mount board.
Print size: 480mm x 145mm unmounted, 670mm x 345mm mounted.
