Private Tuition

If
you would like, or you would like to 'gift'
someone private tuition, in Oils, Watercolour or Pastel, Robert
will be happy to tutor small groups, (no more than 3 people), in
his home studio in Sleights, Whitby.

more advanced students would be welcome.

New
Book for 2010
| We
are delighted to say that Crowood Press has asked Robert to write
a second book to be finished by March 2010.
The book will
be entitled 'Painting with Pastel' & will cover
all aspects of Pastel painting, from materials & equipment to
subject selection, discussing techniques when painting land &
seascapes, 'still life' through to painting the human figure.
The book will
contain many Step by Step demonstrations & be illustrated throughout.

Two Residential
Painting Workshop in Staithes, North Yorkshire for 2009

dates have now been finalised for the 2009 Residential Painting
Workshops in Staithes, which Robert will be tutoring.

"Painting
Boats & Coastal Scenery"
| Robert
has just finished his forthcoming book, entitled "Painting
Boats & Coastal Scenery", to be published by Crowood
Press, around July, 2009.
The book will cover all
aspects of painting coastal scenery at home & abroad, from large
sweeping beachscapes to more intimate studies of harbours &
boats.
Robert will demonstrate
his painting technique in Oils, Watercolour & Pastel, providing
instruction for his readers.
